Web Hosting.. Who to choose?

Hey guys

Im looking for a good solid web host. I have been searching around the web here, there, and pretty much everywere for a solid web host. I need the following as standard..

PHP

MYSQL

Web stats

FTP

Cpanel

I have come across http://Right-Hosting.com they offer 1000MB web hosting from $2.95 per month, which is payable via paypal. They host a friend of mine who says they have fantastic support for him, and are always allowing him to use a little extra space and bandwidth when he needs it.

Well, Let me know what you think, or if you guys have any recommendations!

Thank you.

Web Hosting.. Who to choose?

I am not familiar with right-hosting, but I looked at their site and I could not find a support phone # anywhere. I have a number of websites and would never host with a company that doesn%26#039;t offer phone support. I couldn%26#039;t imagine waiting hours or days for an answer to an email.

For the last couple of years, I have used http://www.oneworlddomains.com. They offer 24/7 phone support for all their hosting plans. They have a free hosting plan if you register a domain with them. I think their cheapest paid plan is $4/mo, so for $1 more than the other company you get telephone support.

I would at least check them out.

Good Luck!

Web Hosting.. Who to choose?

If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months%26#039; time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukend...

They offer hosting of %26quot;unlimited domains%26quot; and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer %26quot;a free Domain Name%26quot; and installing service called %26quot;Fantastico%26quot;. By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer %26quot;Free Website Builder%26quot; as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Other Replys:Often times cheap web hosting providers only give you one database, or charge you extra for adding new domains to the same account.

Other things to consider are the number of databases and web site templates that come with the account, in case you decide to grow your site in the future (Wordpress for blogging, Drupal for content management, etc). In short, you get what you pay for :-)

I%26#039;ve used Lunarpages and HostMonster, and recommend them both for their features, price, and technical support. They both offer a free domain name and you can host unlimited domains with a single account using HostMonster.

There%26#039;s a comparison of web hosting features and prices at the link below, as well as a list of hosts to avoid (including godaddy, yahoo, and others that are way overpriced).

Other Replys:Well i suggest that you visit http://www.xekom.com they have listed out almost all the top web hosting companies there..you can opt for the one which suits you the most....good luck

Other Replys:I%26#039;ve written a couple of article covering good web hosting.

Check out my blog - http://www.web-a-week.com/2007/09/05/fin...

and http://www.bestaffiliateprogramguide.com...

These cover some good hosting companies. Personally I%26#039;m using Mango Hosting which are a reseller for Heart Internet - a reputable UK company

Other Replys:You may wish to check with these host providers, they%26#039;re having good offering and nice support.

http://www.webhosting.uk.com

http://www.bodhost.com

Other Replys:It looks like you%26#039;re looking for a shared hosting account. Lots of choices there - Web.com and Godaddy.com come to mind. If you need your own box and can operate it, I would suggest our company http://www.serverbeach.com

Other Replys:Try http://www.cyberhosted.com

I am a client of http://www.cyberhosted.com for 8 months now and i think it is good enough. so try it !

Other Replys:It looks like you have alot of options!

FYI on Right-Hosting.com:

Registrant:

Right-Hosting

3 greenpark close

blackburn, lancashire bb2 4ee

United Kingdom

And their support page is broken...

Here is a host that meets all of your requirments, plus some to expand.

here is a page with the details on discount:

http://www.geocities.com/minicoup481/hos...

Just my recommendation. Good luck!

Other Replys:although it is cheap you can only host one domain. so why not find a hosting that would host more domain more space more bandwidth but not unlimited because that is not realistic. and also give 1 free domain for life as long you stay with them. and before Halloween they offer very attracting plan. so if you need some good deal you have to act quick.

Other Replys:Well, I am with http://www.realvaluehosting.com since 2004 and host over 5 sites. They are one of the best Linux hosting providers that I have used in recent years.

You may would like to give them a try :)

Other Replys:I don%26#039;t know, I host with 1%26amp;1 (www.1and1.com) but they are pricey. if you want something cheap go with Right-Hosting.

I think these sites are helpful to compare hosts:

http://www.hostnews.com - has a bunch of articles and some search tools by the type of hosting.

http://www.hostrankings.com - lists a bunch of web hosts.

http://www.tophosts.com - a big hosting directory.

Other Replys:http://www.getawebpage.net

This site lists most of the best web hosting companies. I%26#039;d probably go with Startlogic.
