Web hosting?

what should i use to host a website that is quality. Other than bluehost, hostmonster those are junk

Web hosting?

Depends on your needs. I am a fan of http://www.dreamhost.com for shared LAMP hosting and http://www.webhost4life.com for shared Windows hosting.

For dedicated servers, I use http://www.rackspace.com . Yes, Rackspace is expensive, but if I have something with its own server, I want the best service there is, and they have the best service there is.

Note to previous user: Sectorlink has had plenty of downtime over the last 5.5 years. They just didn%26#039;t tell you about it. You can see for yourself here:

Web hosting?

http://www.sectorlink.com

I%26#039;ve been with them for 5.5 years now, and they only just went down for the first time in 4 years last month (can%26#039;t really blame them for that, either...it was a combination of tornadoes in the area and hurricanes throughout the US).

They answer my questions, they solve my problems, and they%26#039;re the only host that has resolved an issue for me in exactly 60 seconds. Find me another host that will do that.

Other Replys:Try godaddy, yahoo webhosting which are quite reilable.

Other Replys:http://www.LocoDomains.com or http://www.JuicyHosting.com they both are very very good

Other Replys:Don%26#039;t try godaddy or yahoo unless you%26#039;re a big fan of paying extra money for less features.

The most reliable web hosting provider I%26#039;ve ever used is Lunarpages. You%26#039;ll get a domain for life, multiple domains on a single account, and great customer service.

I have a comparison of web hosting provider features at the link below, with pricing, etc.

Other Replys:Just pay more, if you go with a cheap host like bluehost/hostmonster you have to remember you are paying $10 bucks a month, that can%26#039;t hire a guy in college for even 2 hours.

So if you want better hosting pay more, go get a vps or managed hosting at rackspace.com, liqudweb.com or so on. Expect to pay about $50 for a vps or less, and $500 for a dedicated server.

Other Replys:I wasted TONS of time with many cowboys, (bythehost being one of the absolute worse) then one day I had a sort of revelation and though %26quot;why not try Yahoo!%26quot; themselves!!!

I wish I had done it before, they are even cheaper than the cowboys, you never get downtime and their tools are excellent!

I found this really useful - I%26#039;m using Heart Internet and they really are class. You%26#039;ll find that mango hosting are a Heart Internet reseller (selling cheaper)

Other Replys:Jonny,

Obviously as I work for http://www.UK2.net I閳ユ獡 going to trump their (excellent :P) web hosting solutions but what you should do is check out an independent specialist review site such as WebHostingChat to get a feel for what others are saying about Hosting/Domain offerings.

Hope this helps mate.
