Web hosting?

I need to buy a doman but not really sure where to buy it from, i want preferably an unlimited amount of disk space but not a ridiculous price, any ideas?

Web hosting?

There really is no such thing as an %26quot;unlimited%26quot; amount of disk space. The obvious reason being the size of the hard drive.

Also, if you%26#039;re promised an unusually high amount of space, be aware that these hosts are doing the same thing that the airlines and hotels do... over-booking. They sell more drive space than they have physically available, knowing that most people won%26#039;t even come close to their limit.

There are other issues with hosting besides drive space and bandwidth, especially if you%26#039;re going to be running web applications like discussion boards, content management systems, blogs, and/or an online store. I wrote an article on some of the technical stuff that the hosting companies don%26#039;t even mention in their ads...

Finally, before going whole-hog with a paid hosting plan, there%26#039;s a free host that you might want to check out. They%26#039;re AD-free as well as MONEY-free, and you get all the goodies that a %26quot;real%26quot; host will give you... five MySQL databases, five email addresses (with real POP3 and SMTP servers), five FTP accounts, cPanel, phpMyAdmin, and a modest selection of auto-installable apps from content management systems to discussion boards to online stores...

Other Replys:There%26#039;s no %26quot;unlimited amount of disk space%26quot;, only %26quot;unlimited amount of domains hosted%26quot;. Go for a reputable one, like HostGator.

Other Replys:Well got some resources below. Maybe it could help a bit in getting the host that suit you best.

Other Replys:There is a host that offers 1,500 GB webspace and a 15,000 Gb transfer limit (per month) which is more than enough. I%26#039;ve used startlogic for nearly 3 years and hosted about 20 websites with them. Price is $5.95/ month and they offer toll free support. You can also have up to 50 separate websites per account.

You can also try easier-hosting.com they offer some good hosting reviews.

Other Replys:you need www.sdhinternet.com

Other Replys:Hi,

When choosing a web host it%26#039;s of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.

Uptime: There%26#039;s no point in having a website if people can%26#039;t see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you%26#039;re looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they%26#039;re very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I%26#039;ll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info

Other Replys:The best webhosting to choose for this thing would be http://www.empservers.com

Put it this way, You get 90% OFF your FIRST MONTH with ANY SHARED hosting package, That makes the bronze package only $0.50 for the first month!! Just use the coupon: 90off.

Other Replys:There is nothing like unlimited hosting. They are usually scams.

Other Replys:I bought an unlimited hosting a while ago which turned out to be very bad service. I don%26#039;t believe in unlimited hosting any more.

There are many good hosting providers like bluehost, ipower, hostmonster etc...

But we have been using Omnis web hosting and we are satisfied with them.

They offer 300 GB webspace, 3000 GB bandwidth and multiple domain web hosting. They are also giving away free domains to new customers.

Check their features at their site.

Other Replys:If you look for web hosting, don閳ユ獩 rush into it. Read reviews about web hosting and decide properly before going ahead with web hosting.

I personally will recommend you a web hosting which many people find it very reliable. It is hostmonster.

Before deciding to sign up hostmonster, read the reviews and stats about hostmonster at the following website.

Other Replys:http://www.LocoDomains.com has the best deals and service

Other Replys:Hello there. Like those have said before me, beware of websites that advertise unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. If you doubt it, try calling them and telling them you immediately need 100 terrabytes of disk space (secure your pricing first) to host thousands of videos, see what they would say (that could be fun, maybe I%26#039;ll try that one day).

I%26#039;d like to ask why you need so much disk space?

What are your real needs in a web host? Personal help with web development? Do you own a business or want to start one and need a web host that is geared toward business owners (I made that point because mine is)? Do you need your severs to run fast, or is a lot of disk space but slow server speed ok?

Anyway, I hear hostgator is good but in case you%26#039;re looking for a little different kind of web hosting company, you might want to check out http://www.eventurebiz.com.

Good luck.
